On Saturday, March 12, 2016, the Pluckemin Inn and Wine Shop in Bedminster, New Jersey, will inaugurate “Saturday Afternoon Flights,” a new wine tasting format. On selected Saturdays the restaurant will open a collection of new arrivals, best buys, and seasonal wines to taste for a small fee. These informal “splash & dash” tastings will provide a great way to “try before you buy.”
The new format will commence with a selection of superb wines from Sonoma’s Peay Vineyards, one of the hottest wineries on the cool Sonoma Coast. Wine lovers may stop by any time between1:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. to be guided through a tasting flight of wines form this stellar winery.
Guests may come early and taste and run, or come late and stay for dinner when the restaurant opens at 5:00 p.m. Reservations for the tasting are not required, but if you plan to attend, please reply by calling (908) 658-9292.
In addition, on Saturday, March 19, 2016, the Inn will welcome spring with a walk-around wine tasting from 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Guests will sample 40-50 wines that are perfect for the new season and will also be treated to a variety of hors d’oeuvres to complement the wines.
The Plucky Tavern will open immediately following the event at 4:00 p.m.
