On Saturday, February 27, 2016, from 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., the Pluckemin Inn and Wine Shop, 10 Pluckemin Way, Bedminster, New Jersey, will host another in its popular series of walk-around wine tastings, featuring extraordinary vintages from Burgundy, France.
The wines of Burgundy are some of the most sought after on earth. But Burgundy is also one of the most complicated regions to understand. What better way to learn more about these extraordinary wines (and stock your cellar at the same time) than spending an afternoon tasting a selection of the Pluckemin Inn’s personal favorites?
Guests are invited to join Wine Director Brian Hider, the newest member of the Wine Shop’s team, Chris Cree MV, and several of the Inn’s favorite importers and distributors for a casual walk-around tasting of this famous region’s incomparable wines. The Inn will have a wide range of Burgundy’s best open to taste, including affordable crisp Chardonnay from the Macon, Village level, and Premier Cru whites and reds from vineyards along the slopes of the Côte d’Or, crisp Chablis, and a Grand Cru or two as well.
A light selection of traditional hors d’oeuvres will be served to enhance the tastings; and all wines sampling will be available for purchase.
The cost of the Burgundy walk-around wine tasting is $50.00 per person (plus tax). The Inn will credit $25.00 of the admission fee toward any purchase of $200.00 or more of wines featured at the tasting.
