On Thursday, January 28, 2016, Alan Heckman, Executive Chef at the Stockton Inn in Stockton, New Jersey, will be presenting “A Midwinter Night’s Dream,” a five-course tasting menu at the James Beard House in New York City.
The tasting menu created by Chef Heckman celebrates Modern American Cuisine, what he describes as combining classic techniques and disciplines with the flavors and ingredients of other cultures.
The feast will begin with a reception at 7:00 p.m. and includes passed hors d’oeuvres and wine pairing. Each course is also paired with wines selected by Delaware Valley-based wine & spirits expert Brian Freedman.
