Common Lot & Escape Chefs’ Collaboration Dinner

Escape - Common Lot CollaborationOn Wednesday, January 13, 2016, 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Australian-born Chef Ehren Ryan of Common Lot, coming soon to Millburn, New Jersey, and 2015 Best Seafood Jersey Chef Bryan Gregg of Escape in Montclair, NJ, will kick off the New Year with a collaboration dinner. The event will be held at Escape, 345 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair.

The five-course menu will pair the talents of the established chef/restaurateur alongside the highly anticipated newcomer who brings his culinary sensibilities to New Jersey diners with his first restaurant, scheduled to open late February 2016.

The complete menu is noted below…

First Course – Hirame: Puffed Rye, Smoked Apple (Chef Gregg)

Second Course – Celery Root: Chicken Skin, Pickled Celery (Chef Ryan)

Third Course – Hāpuka: Sunchoke, Mustard Seeds, Fish Jus Chef Ryan

Fourth Course – Venison: Ash-Cooked Beets, Buttermilk Bleu (Chef Gregg)

Fifth Course – Sorghum-Spiced Financier: Malted Vanilla Ice Cream, Oat Streusel Crumbs (Chef Collaboration)

The cost of this special collaboration dinner is $59.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity). This is a BYO event.
