On Wednesday, November 18, 2015, 5:00 p.m., the Stockton Inn, 1 South Main Street, Stockton, New Jersey, will celebrate the holidays by launching a sumptuous five-course prix fixe tasting menu that will continue through January 3, 2016.
Chef Alan Heckman’s menu will feature oysters, caviar, black truffle wagyu, and foie gras. All the dishes are infused with a modern touch yet remain true to the Inn’s Colonial past. “This is a menu built for savoring,” notes Chef Heckman. Guests may also choose to pair each course with wine.

Tagliolini con Tartufo: House-Made Pasta, Grana Padano, Pine Nut, Shaved Black Truffle; Wine Pairing: Château Favray Pouilly Fumé, 2012, France
Braised Pork Belly: Bay Scallop, Carrot, Hakurei Turnip; Wine Pairing: Trisaetum Pinot Noir, 2013, Oregon
Wagyu Wellington: Foie Gras & Mushroom Duxelle, Creamed Swiss Chard, Béarnaise Timbale, Sauce Bordelaise; Wine Pairing: Michael David “Petite Sirah/Petite Verdot” 2013, California
Chocolate and Hazelnut Mousse: Hazelnut Dacquoise, Salted Caramel, Concord Jelly; Wine Pairing: Plum Gekkeikan, NV, Japan
*Other than on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, the Stockton Inn’s seasonal à la carte menu will also be available Wednesday – Sunday.
