On Saturday & Sunday, October 24 & 25, 12:00 noon – 10:00 p.m., the Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten in Asbury Park, New Jersey, will conclude their first annual Oktoberfest celebration by taking the festival out of the Bier Hall and into the street, for an Oktoberfest grand finale.
Under a massive 120-foot Munich-style Festhalle tent located in Asbury Park’s Press Plaza, Emory Street between Cookman and Lake Avenues, Oktoberfest revelers will find all-day and all-night bier, food and music – rain or shine. Live polka bands, keg-tapping, mug-holding, and carrying competitions, best-dressed lederhosen and dirndl contests will fill the street for an Oktoberfest-by-the-sea.
The Festhalle will be serving pretzels, brats, and bier from four of Munich’s top breweries: Hacker-Pschor, Hofbrau, Spaten, and Paulaner.
