Skylands Stadium Craft Beer FestOn Saturday, October 3, 2015, 12:00 noon – 6:00 p.m., Skylands Stadium in the heart of rural Sussex County, 94 Championship Place, Augusta, New Jersey, will be holding its first annual Skylands Stadium Beer Fest. Featured will be over 40 artisanal craft beers from around the U.S. paired with American pub-style food from Wheelhouse, Skylands Stadium’s new on-site restaurant.

The Skylands Stadium Beer Fest, to be held in the stadium’s outdoor pavilion and on the baseball field, will feature music as well as fun events for children, including games, contests, prizes, bounce house, and face painting. While mom and dad are beer-tasting, children can try their hand at running the bases on the Sussex County Miners’ baseball field.

Paired with the craft beers will be a wide array of American pub-style food. Krave Events, the stadium’s exclusive in-house caterer and proprietors of Wheelhouse, are using beer to prepare many of the mouth-watering fall dishes, such as pumpkin pale ale soup, venison porter chili, grilled bratwurst, and Oktoberfest red cabbage slaw. Also on offer will be sticky bourbon chicken wings, beer-braised pulled pork sandwich, Berkshire pork mac & cheese, and game jerky.

Desserts will include bacon-chocolate stout brownies, apple pie cider crisp, and coffee stout cakes. When festival attendees aren’t sampling beer, they can try Wheelhouse’s delicious apple cider and pumpkin coffee.

The Skylands Stadium Beer Fest entry price for adults if $25.00, which includes admission to the festival and 15 drink vouchers (additional vouchers will be available for purchase). A photo ID is required. The price of entry for those under age 21, and for adults who will not be beer-tasting is $5.00. Pub-style food will be available for purchase separately on a cash-and-carry basis. Parking is free all day.

For more information about this event, be sure to check out the Stadium’s website.

Cheers & Bon Appétit!
