On Saturday, November 7, 2015, the Mercersburg Inn, 405 South Main Street, Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, will host another in its popular series of “Wine and Food Weekends.” This weekend gathering will feature the wines and foods of Chile and Argentina.
There will be a late afternoon tasting of six wines led by wine expert John Peters. This will be followed at 8:00 p.m. by a five-course dinner prepared by Chef Dan Nowalk, a charter member of the Pennsylvania Culinary Society, paired with appropriate wines selected by Mr. Peters.

First Course: Scallop Ceviche with Mango, Avocado, and Cilantro
Second Course: Argentinian-Style Pork, Pumpkin, and Corn Soup
Third Course: Baked Cod with Tomatoes and Onions
Fourth Course: Grilled Marinated Beef Flank Steak with Chimichurri
Fifth Course: Salted Caramel Chocolate Pots

The cost of the Wine and Food Weekend is $115.00 per person ($105.00 per person for repeat Wine and Food guests). This event also requires an overnight stay at the Inn.
