On Thursday, July 16, 2015, 7:00 p.m., for one night only, Restaurant Nicholas in Red Bank, New Jersey, will be serving a special lobster menu.
Proprietor/Chef Nicholas Harary will be flying in Nova Scotia lobsters that will have come out of the ocean less than 24-hours before. Four courses will showcase fresh lobster paired with locally sourced summer produce, including Jersey corn and tomatoes.

First Course: Classic Lobster Roll; Wine Pairing: 2014 Ballard Canyon, Sauvignon Blanc, Stolpman Vineyards
Second Course: “Kennebunk” Lobster Bisque; Wine Pairing: 2012 Chablis, Vielles Vignes, Domaine Moreau Naudet
Third Course: Hand-Made Lobster Ravioli, Jersey Corn, Lobster Butter Sauce; Wine Pairing: 2013 Sonoma Coast, Chardonnay, Clos Julien
Fourth Course: Nova Scotia Lobster, Smoke Jersey tomato, Crispy Bacon; Wine Pairing: 2012 Sonoma Coast, Pinot Noir, Freestone Vineyards, Joseph Phelps
Fifth Course: Strawberry Shortcake; Wine Pairing: 2014 Moscato d’Asti, Elio Perrone
The cost of the special lobster menu is $135.00 per person; $185.00 per person with wine pairings (plus tax & gratuity).
