Philly Brew ToursOn Friday, July 10, 2015, Founder and CEO Chad Brodsky will debut Philly Brew Tours (PBT), the newest city to be added to his wildly popular nationwide beer education and craft brewery tasting tours. Joining successful tours in Boston; Washington, DC; Burlington, VT; and New Hampshire’s sea coast, PBT has partnered with some of the region’s top craft breweries to create all-inclusive Itineraries.

This means no waiting in lines, no entrance fees, VIP tours, and closed-to-the-public visits. Tours will also feature private tastings at each brewery, food pairings from beer-focused restaurants, round-trip transportation from brewery to brewery, and a dedicated beer guide to teach participants about the brewing process and Philadelphia’s proud brewing history.

Each tour last approximately five (5) hours and costs $85.00 per person. Tours will leave from 1211 Arch Street in Downtown Philadelphia, adjacent to the Reading Terminal Market.

PBT works with some of the best-known craft breweries and distilleries in the region, inviting guests in for guided tastings of 15 different beers, along with in-depth analysis about the brewing process and how to identify popular styles, such as Saisons, Stouts, IPAs, Pilsners, Porters, etc. All tours, led by a home brewer and local beer expert, will include an inside look and guided tour of at least three breweries, including beer tastings with pours ranging from 3 to 16-ounces.

Using the motto “From Strangers to Drinking Buddies,” guests can expect a full day of non-stop beer education. Tour guides will highlight Philadelphia’s rich brewing history while pointing out historical landmarks along the way and how they relate to beer, all from the comfort of a private air-conditioned van.

Featured breweries and distilleries will include: Yards Brewing Company, 901 North Delaware Avenue, Philadelphia, PA… Flying Fish Brewing Company, 900 Kennedy Boulevard, Somerdale, NJ… 2nd Story Brewing, 117 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA… Dock Street Brewing, 701 South 50th Street, Philadelphia, PA… Saint Benjamin Brewing Company, 1710 North 5th Street, Philadelphia, PA… Lunacy Brewing Company, 214 Davis Road, Magnolia, NJ… Cooper River Distillers, 34 North 4th Street, Camden, NJ… Earth Bread + Brewery, 7136 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA… Philadelphia Brewing Company, 2440 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA

Each tour also provides either a full lunch or dinner at one of Philadelphia’s most talked about and beer-focused restaurants. Guests can expect the beer education to continue over a delicious meal, with a discussion of the intricacies of pairing craft beer with food, and an exploration into flavor profiles. Participating bars and restaurants will include: 2nd Story Brewing, 117 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA… Brauhaus Schmitz, 718 South Street, Philadelphia, PA… City Tap House University City, 3925 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA

At this time, PBT offers three distinct tour experiences…
