The Pluckemin Inn Hosts Bourbon Paired Dinner

PluckeminOn Friday, March 13, 2015, 7:00 p.m., in conjunction with their 10th anniversary wine dinner series, the Pluckemin Inn, Bedminster, New Jersey, will host a four-course dinner perfectly paired with top-name bourbons.

Amuse: Smoked Chicken Wing, Scallion, Peanut, Chilies

First Course: Duck Confit, Apple, Pecan, Celeriac, Frisée Salad; Bourbon Pairing: Journeyman Ravenswood Rye

Second Course: Grilled Short Ribs, Savoy Cabbage, Charred Onion, Bone Marrow; Bourbon Pairing: Eagle Rare 10-Year

Dessert: Warm Chocolate & Pecan Torte, Caramel, Brown Sugar, Bourbon Ice Cream; Bourbon Pairing: Blanton’s Original Single Barrel

Cheese Course: Shropshire Blue, Spiced Nuts, Honeycomb; Bourbon Pairings: 10-Years-Old Pappy Van Winkle; 12-Years-Old Pappy Van Winkle

On Saturday, March 14, beginning at 2:30 p.m., the Inn will also be hosting their spring walk-around wine tasting, sampling 40-50 wines that are perfect for the dawning of spring.
