“Eat Drink Local Week” at Ho-Ho-Kus Inn

Ho-Ho-Kus Inn - ExteriorThe Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern, Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, will participate in the fourth annual Edible Jersey magazine’s “Eat Drink Local Week” by showcasing a prix fixe lunch and dinner menu from Saturday, June 21 – Saturday, June 28.

Guests will enjoy a bounty of locally grown special offerings that involve regional partners from the entire food chain. This weekly event raises awareness about the abundance of products grown in-state.

Lunch Prix-Fixe:

Appetizers (Choice of) – Cream of Leek and Potato Soup: Chives, Crispy Leeks, Herbed Croutons (Formisano Farms, Phillips Farms, Vanning Farms)… Baby Spinach Salad: Jersey Strawberries, Creamy Goat Cheese, Almonds, Orange Dressing (Blue Moon Acres, Flint Hill Farms)

Entrées (Choice of) – Roasted Chicken: Lemon Oyster Mushrooms, Jersey Peas, Braised Fennel, Crispy Fingerlings, Asparagus, Au Jus (Shibumi Farms, Phillips Farm, Formisano Farm)… Salt Roasted Salmon: Heirloom Beets, Baby Bok Choy, Radish, Kohl Rabi Soy Ginger Glaze (Hepworth Farms, Great Road Farm, Meyers Farm)

Dinner Additions:

Appetizers – Swiss Char “Pierogi”: Ricotta, Chives, Prosciutto (Fulper Arms, Fields Without Fences, Blooming Glen)

Entrées (Choice of) – Duck Breast: Strawberry Glaze, Wild Arugula, hen of the Woods, Baby Turnips, Leeks (Shibumi Farms, Marolda Farms, Formisano Farms)… Halibut: Broccoli Rabe, Celery Root Purée, Farro Berries, Pickled Ramps (Blooming Glen, David’s Wild Farm)

Lunch is priced at $19.99 per person; dinner at $34.99 per person (plus beverages, tax & gratuity). Reservations are suggested and may be made by calling (201) 445-4115.

The Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern is located at One East Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey. The Inn is open every day from 11:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and until 2:00 a.m. on weekends. A brunch is served on Sundays from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
