Chef/owner Rakesh Ramola of Indeblue, 619 Collings Avenue, Collingswood, New Jersey, has announced that his restaurant is now serving brunch every Sunday from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Along with traditional and modern dishes, guests are encouraged to BYOB and enjoy delicious mixers such as Spicy Masala Bloody Mary. Live music by David Kelly, an accomplished guitarist, will be played inside from 12:00 noon until 2:30 p.m. Weather permitting, guests are urged to enjoy brunch outdoors on the sprawling 22-seat patio.
“Since opening Indeblue, we’ve received tremendously positive feedback from our guests, so it was a natural next step to add brunch,” notes Chef Ramola, who opened a second location in Philadelphia last year, also serving brunch. “For our new menu, we’re adding an Indian spin to the classic brunch dishes.”
Brunch dishes include: Vegetable Samosa Chaat: spiced potato turnovers with chickpeas, yogurt, tamarind date & cilantro mint chutney; French Toast: prepared with challah bread and served with a mango & wine compote, cinnamon cream cheese & side of cardamom maple syrup; Masala Omelet: with raiwala potatoes, maple soaked bacon, baby butter naan and tomato chutney; Spicy Bacon Egg Wrap with garam masala bacon, caramelized onions, tomatoes, spiced eggs, pan-seared paratha, sweet chili & side of masala fries: Chicken Tikka Wrap: with tandoori spiced chicken, English cucumber, tomato, tamarind aioli, pan seared paratha & side of spicy masala fries; Paneer Bhurjee: house-made paneer scramble with spring onions, green chili & chili cheese naan; and Thalis: either vegetarian, non-vegetarian or seafood. Dishes range in price from $9.00 – $17.
A selection of accompaniments are also available, including: Mango Shrikhand (Yogurt) Parfait: with mango, yogurt & granola; Spicy Masala Fries; Assorted Breads: such as Kashmiri with pistachio, coconut & raisins; and Lasooni with fresh garlic and cilantro; and Garam Masala Bacon. Accompaniments range in price from $2.00 – $6.00.
Since opening its doors in 2009, Indeblue in Collingswood, a warm 75-seat restaurant featuring Indian motifs throughout and hues of golden saffron balanced with cherry wood accents, continues to earn praise from critics and diners alike, including numerous “Best Of” awards from New Jersey Monthly and South Jersey Magazine.
Indeblue will serve Sunday brunch from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Lunch is served Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Dinner is served Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.; and Friday until 10:00 p.m. Dinner is served on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until midnight, and Sunday from 3J0 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
