The Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern (www.hohokusinn.com), One East Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, is tempting diners with a new winter menu from Executive Chef Andrew Rodriguez and a number of events to warm the palate and the spirit.

Wednesday, January 15: The Ho Ho-Kus Inn’s Cellar Club (no membership required) will feature “Northern Italy vs. Southern Italy” at 6:30 p.m. Held in the cozy, informal setting of the library, participants will learn why not all Italian wines are created equal, as well as the subtle differences between northern and southern Italian wines. The event is priced at $25.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity). Four top wines will be served, along with complimentary hors d’oeurves. Reservations are required.

Wednesday, January 22, 6:30 p.m.: The Inn’s Craft Beer Tasting will introduce Rekordelig “Hard” Cider Beer from Sweden. First created in 1999 by combining the highest quality fruit with the purest spring water from Vimmersby, Sweden, Rekordelig is now a much loved, fourth generation family brewed hard cider that just launched in the United States. Pear, Strawberry Lime, and Wild Berry flavors will be tasted. The event is priced at $20.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity). Complimentary hors-doeurves will be served and reservations are recommended.

Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14: A special multi-course prix fixe menu featuring a selection of inspired offerings and twosome selections for couples will be offered. A complimentary glass of Champagne will be included. Reservations are suggested.
