Thanksgiving Dining at Crystal Springs Resort

On Thursday, November 28, Crystal Springs Resort, 1 Wild Turkey Way, Hamburg, New Jersey, will offer four options for Thanksgiving dinner… from a family friendly buffet with live music to casual prix fixe menus in the Springs Bistro and Crystal Tavern to a creative five-course menu in Restaurant Latour. And for those who don’t want to cook, the Resort will also offer a heritage turkey dinner with all the trimmings to go.

Turkey to Go: ($195.00, serves 6-8) includes a citrus roasted heritage turkey accompanied by sausage-fennel cornbread stuffing, cranberry chutney-stuffed lady apple, sweet potato casserole, maple braised pork belly, Brussels sprouts, and giblet gravy. For dessert diners can enjoy a bourbon pecan pie with brown butter anglaise and pumpkin ice cream. Sides available include Yukon gold potatoes ($40.00), butternut squash soup ($20.00), Pochuk Valley Farms organic greens ($60.00), Caesar salad ($30.00), and creamed spinach ($60.00). Grand Cascades Lodge will host a family friendly Thanksgiving buffet with live music from 11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. in the Emerald Ballroom. Guests will enjoy shrimp, salads, butternut squash soup, pastas, herb-roasted heritage turkey with sage stuffing & herbed pan gravy, as well as all-American desserts such as peach cobbler, cinnamon apple pie, and pumpkin pie. The David Aaron Orchestra will be playing big band standards from the Swing Era. The buffet is $44.00 for adults; $22.00 for children 4 – 11; children under 4 are free (tax & gratuity additional).

 

 

Restaurant Latour will serve a five-course Thanksgiving tasting menu from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Chestnut Bay Scallop Chowder: Mini Pumpkin Agnolotti, Fall Pearl Garni

Roasted Fennel Artichoke Salad: Heirloom Yellow Beet, Cipolini Onion, Buddha’s Hand Vinaigrette

Glazed Pork Belly: Berkshire Bacon Grit Soufflé, Caramelized Pine Island Onion, Vermont Maple

Cider Brined Heritage Turkey: Spinach Fennel Sausage Brioche Stuffing, Candied Mandarin Oranges with Cranberries, Kabocha Purée, Hand-Whipped Potatoes, Giblet Confit Sauce

Hubbard Pumpkin Cheesecake: Gingersnap Cookie Crust, Nutmeg Ice Cream, Baked Apple Pecan Compote

The cost of the five-course Thanksgiving tasting menu is $85.00 per person; $135 per person with pairings (tax & gratuity additional). The à la carte menu will also be available.

 

 

Crystal Tavern will serve a three-course prix fixe menu from 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
