Escape Restaurant in Montclair, NJ, to Host Benefit Snout-to-Tail Pig Dinner

Bryan Gregg, chef/proprietor of Escape, 345 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair, New Jersey, a leader in the Garden State local food movement has announced that he is partnering with Rob Ubhaus, chef/owner of Rob’s Bistro in Madison, and Chef Ben Del Coro of Fossil Farms, to jointly host a five-course, Roaming Acres wine pairing dinner on Wednesday, November 6, at 7:00 p.m.

Chefs Gregg, Ubhaus, and Del Coro will combine their culinary talents in the Escape kitchen to craft a locally-sourced dining experience to benefit the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center of Morristown. The five-course pig-centric dinner will include wines donated by a wine collector patron of Escape who supports Chef Gregg’s efforts to raise funds for the fight against cancer.

Amuse-Bouche: Surprise du Chef

First Course: Smoked Tête de Cochon, Turnips, Looks, Gribiche Sauce by Rob Ubhaus

Second Course: Trotters, Ham Confit, Farm Egg, Truffle Jus by Ben Del Coro

Third Course: Boudin Noir, Clam, Celery, Pistou by Bryan Gregg

Entrée:  Loin Roast, Hubbard, Bleu Snow, Marcona Almond, Soubise by Bryan Gregg

Dessert: Candied Bacon Sundae, Maple Ice Cream, Spiced Chocolate by Rob Ubhaus

The cost of this special dinner is priced at $95.00 per person, with 50% of the proceeds being donated to Carol G. Simon Cancer Center of Morristown.
