During the month of October, the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern, Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, will be hosting a number of interesting events that are certain to please a variety of palates.
October 6 – 10 and October 13 – 17: The Inn is participating in the annual (201) Restaurant Week, which celebrates great dining in Bergen County. The Inn is offering a fabulous three-course lunch menu for $16.95 and a three-course dinner menu for $39.95, exclusive of tax & gratuity. Reservations are required.
Wednesday, October 16, 6:30 p.m.: The Inn’s “Cellar Club” (no membership required), a wine education series, will hold “A Taste of South Africa” in the informal setting of the Library. A selection of four top South African wines, including Simonsig Chenin Blanc from one of South Africa’s oldest vineyards, and Indaba Chardonnay from the Western Cape will be served along with complimentary hors d’oeuvres. The cost is $25.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity). This event is geared to novice and seasoned wine lovers alike. Participants are encouraged to stay for dinner following the tasting.
Wednesday, October 30, 7:00 p.m.: Back by popular demand, the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn will host the Horror Awards Murder Mystery Dinner Party. This fun, “spooktacular” event will have participants solving a murder in the Hollywood entertainment industry while dining on a chef-inspired three-course dinner.
