Savoring National Burger Month 8

May is National Burger Month… So I’ve been checking out a number of interesting restaurants in and around the NJ/NY Metro area that are offering up some downright sumptuous, cunningly creative burgers that are sure to satisfy your summer cravings… Like the variety of burgers served up by Chef Anthony Pino at his restaurants in Hoboken, New Jersey.

At Bin 14 Trattoria & Wine Bar it’s the Bin 14 Burger ($15.00): Roasted Tomato, Fresh Mozzarella & Pancetta on a Toasted Brioche Bun (available for lunch or brunch).

The Dining Room at Anthony David’s serves up the Grilled Ahi Tuna Burger ($14.50): Tomato, Basil Aioli & Grilled Onions on Herb Ciabatta (available for all-day brunch).

At On the Flip Side, Chef Pino’s summer burger shack at the Uptown Farmers’ Market, there several interesting options to tempt the palate: LTO ($6.50): Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, American Cheese; Oaxaca ($9.25): Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Chorizo, Guacamole, Oaxaca Cheese; Kentucky ($8.95): Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Cheddar, BBQ Pulled Pork; and Big Boy Bleu ($8.00): Lettuce, Tomato, Caramelized Onions, Sharp Blue Cheese
