Silverspoon, Wayne, PA, Introduces Sunday “Pop-Up” Dinners

On Sunday evening, June 2nd, Silverspoon, 503 West Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, Pennsylvania, will debut a series of unique “pop-up” dinners. For one special Sunday night each month, Chef Tim Courtney and his talented kitchen staff will create a seasonally themed one-of-a-kind tasting menu.

“Wild & Native Foods,” which is especially apt for June, will be the inaugural theme of the Chef’s six course tasting menu noted below…

Course One: Wild Asparagus & Spring Onion Bisque, Sorrel, Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Course Two: Micro Green Herb Salad, Raw Local Honey & Chive Blossom Vinaigrette

Course Three: Jersey Coast Soft Shell Crab Tempura, Smoked Yellow Tomato Coulis, Grilled Ramps & Ramp Top Pesto

Course Four: Limestone Spring Pocono Rainbow Trout, Sautéed Dandelion Greens, Roasted Wild Garlic, Pennsylvania Walnut Brown Butter

Course Five: Wild Mushroom & Potato Gnocchi, Venison Ragu, Foraged Morel Mushroom, Spring Pea, Fiddlehead Fern

Course Six: Strawberry-Rhubarb Shortcake, Local Vanilla buttermilk Biscuit, Whipped Lancaster County Double Cream

The cost of the six-course tasting menu is $50.00 per person. Open reservations from 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.; meal duration approximately 90 – 120 minutes. BYOB.
