Saturday, May 18th, 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Wine Class: Introduction to Bordeaux – There are more than 8,000 producers of “Bordeaux” wine. This class will teach participants how to differentiate them; and, more importantly, how to enjoy them. The cost is $45.00 per person. Seating is limited.
Thursday, May 23rd, 7:00 p.m.: Yards Brewery Dinner – Participants will enjoy a three course dinner, plus dessert, all paired with the finest offerings from Philadelphia’s Yards Brewing Company, including Philly Pale Ale, Brawler, and three more. The cost is $90.00 per person. Seating is limited.
Saturday, May 25th, 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Wine Class: Introduction to Champagne – Perhaps the most well-known and least understood region of France. These exceptional wines will be explored. $45.00 per person. Limited seating.
Saturday, June 8th, 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Wine Class: Introduction to Italian Wine – Italy has overtaken France as the world’s largest wine-producing country. But it’s not just quantity; there is quality in every region. $45.00 per person. Limited seating.
Saturday, June 29th, 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Summer Walk-Around Wine Tasting – Participants will spend the afternoon sampling 40-50 wines that are perfect for quaffing on warm summer days and nights. Hors d’oeuvres will also be served. The cost is $30.00 per guest.
Note: The Plucky Tavern will open early for guests wishing to stay for dinner.
