On Thursday, May 2nd, 7:00 p.m., the Pluckemin Inn, Bedminster, New Jersey, will host a special wine dinner featuring the extraordinary vintages of Oregon’s Hamacher Wines.
This event will be a three-course dinner plus cheese course, exclusively featuring the elegant Chardonnay and Pinot Noirs of Hamacher Wines. Eric Hamacher, one of Oregon’s most notable wine producers, founded Hamacher Wines in 1995 and has since established an unprecedented reputation for excellence.
Hosted by both Mr. Hamacher and Sommelier Brian Hider, guests will be led through the menu, which perfectly pairs and showcases these award-winning wines.
The menu begins with a sea scallop, Virginia ham, pistachio, and sugar snap peas paired with a Chardonnay. Next comes the mushroom cannelloni accenting asiago, ramps, morels, and wild spinach paired with a Pinot Noir. The main course of Muscovery duck features red beets, Swiss chard, black truffle, and wheat berries paired with a second Pinot Noir. Finally, the meal concludes with a savory cheese course from Major Farm in Vermont, a Vermont Shepard highlighted by yet another Pinot Noir.
The cost of the Hamacher wine dinner is $130.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity), and limited seating is available. For more information, or to make reservations, please call (908) 658-9292.
Bon Appétit!
