One of my favorite dining haunts, the Silverspoon, 503 West Lancaster Avenue, Eagle Village Shops, Wayne, PA, will celebrate Main Line Restaurant Week, April 23 – 27, with a special three course prix fixe menu for just $30.00.

FIRST COURSE CHOICES: Green Meadow Farm’s Mesclun Salad, Spanish Black Radish, Pea Tendrils, Citrus Vinaigrette; Shellbark Hollow Farms Goat Cheese Gnocchi, Pickled Rhubarb, Blue Basil, Balsamic Brown Butter; Slow-Roasted Early Asparagus, Morel Mushrooms, Veal Jus, Poached Highspire Farms Egg

SECOND COURSE CHOICES: Fricassee of Organic Lancaster Chicken, Kennett Mushrooms, Fiddleheads, Young Chives, Anson Mills Grits; Grilled Lamb Porterhouse, Roasted Yellow Finn Potatoes, Spring Pea Purée, Zinfandel Mint Gastrique; Limestone Springs Pennsylvania Rainbow Trout, Asparagus, Lemon Risotto, Roasted Carrots, Grilled Wild Spring Onion Pesto

THIRD COURSE CHOICES: Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta, Key Lime, Rhubarb & Pistachio Chutney; Roasted Pear & Sweet Cheese Tart, Rosemary, Meyer Lemon, Wildflower Honey; Chai-Spiced Donuts, Orange Curd; Chocolate and Hazelnut Cookies
