On March 13th, Megu Sushi, already a favorite in Moorestown and Cherry Hill, made its debut in Ventnor City, New Jersey.
Steven Megu Lin, founder of Megu Sushi, began cooking when he was 15 years old. He has spent his professional career working in kitchens all over the world, training in everything from traditional Japanese fare to Sushi to Asian and European fusion.
He is a veteran of celebrated sushi restaurants in Northern New Jersey and New York City, as well as of his own sushi and fusion restaurant in Minneapolis. Throughout this time, he honed his culinary talents and developed a vision for bringing the flavors of East and West together.
At Megu Sushi, Mr. Lin fills every menu with exciting but approachable sushi that encourages diners to try tantalizing new things, satisfying favorites, and new twists on classic tastes. He explores the possibilities of local and seasonal ingredients, global flavors, and culinary traditions to bring a memorable dining experience to every guest. Exquisite flavors and beautiful execution of traditional and innovative techniques unite to provide a wonderful experience to sushi aficionados and first-timers alike.
Whether you’re preparing your shore house for the upcoming summer season, rolling the dice at the casinos, or spending a day at the beach, Megu Sushi will provide you with quality sushi that will satisfy your cravings.
You may stop by for lunch or dinner Monday – Saturday or dinner only on Sundays. During the month of April, guests can enjoy a ten course tasting menu for only $30.00 any Sunday through Thursday evening (reservations are required for the tasting menu).
