On Valentine’s weekend, Thursday, February 14th, through Saturday, February 16th, Za Restaurant, 147 West Delaware Avenue in Pennington, New Jersey, will be serving a special romantic prix fixe menu. The cost is $49.00 per person on Thursday, the 14th, and $39.99 per person on Friday & Saturday, the 15th & 16th.

First Course (Choice of): Valentine’s Weekend Soup: Cheddar & Crab Bisque; Spiced Pecan, Apple, and Goat Cheese Salad: Sherry & Shallot Vinaigrette Dressing; Crispy Parmesan & Herb Shrimp; Vegetable Tempura

Entrées (Choice of): Seared Sesame Sushi Tuna & Tempura Shrimp: Served over Sweet & Sour Bok Choy with Raspberry Green Onion Soy Sauce & Wasabi; Filet Mignon: Served over Potato, Bacon and English Pea & Pepper Hash with Caramelized Shallot Sauce; Lemon-Apricot Quail: Served with Sesame Spinach & Cheddar Smashed Potatoes; Mushroom & Shaved Black Truffle Risotto

Lobster Bliss Premium Choices ($15.00 Supplement):

Lobster Matador: Half a two pound Maine lobster broiled in sherry cream sauce and topped with toasted panko breadcrumbs, served with a grilled 8-ounce prime rib eye steak and haricots verts.

Lobster & Shrimp Flambé: Half a two pound Maine Lobster and jumbo shrimp poached in drawn lemon butter and flambéed with brandy, served over saffron pepper rice, croutons, green onion, and vegetable of the day.

Lobster Risotto: Half a two pound Maine lobster simmered in Arborio rich with spicy pico de gallo, spinach shallots, and peppers combined with the full nutty flavor of Grana Padano cheese, fished with a drizzle of arugula oil.

Lobster Soprano: Half a two pound Maine lobster and Prince Edward Island mussels tossed with shallot, garlic, bacon, and spaghetti, served with fresh herbs, tomato, evoo, and shaved Grana Padano cheese.

Valentine’s House-Made Desserts (Choice of): Strawberry Shortcake: House-Made Whipped Cream; Toasted Almond Crème Brûlée; Key Lime Pie: House-Made Vanilla Cream & Lime Zest; Chocolate Soufflé: House-Made Vanilla Cream; Just Some Berries: House-Made Vanilla Cream and Sprig of Mint
