“Hidden Gems of France” Wine Dinner at the Frog and the Peach

On Friday, February 8, 7:00 p.m., the Frog and the Peach in New Brunswick, New Jersey, will host a special wine dinner featuring “Hidden Gems of France.” Wines from the Savoie Mountains & Saumur in the Loire and Bandol & Roussillon on the Mediterranean will be paired with chef/proprietor Bruce Lefebvre’s innovative cuisine.

Raclette Tartine: Kale Pistou, House-Baked English Muffin; Wine: Roger Labbe Abymes, Savoie, 2011

Smoked Sturgeon:  Potato Galette, Caviar-Lemon Sabayon; Wine: Francois Chidaine, Montlouis “Clos Breuil,” 2011

Dijon-Crusted Squab Breast: Stew of Lentils, Fennel, Cabbage, Pancetta; Wine: Chateau du Hureau, Saumur-Champigny “Tuff,” 2010

Grilled Lamb Sirloin:  Whipped Feta, White Beans, Escarole, Almong, Oregano Lamb Jus; Wine: Pibarnon Rouge, Bandol, 2007

Cherry Cordial:  Dark Chocolate, Tarragon; Wine: La Tour Vieille, Banyuls Reserva
