During the month of December, in the spirit of the holiday season, the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern, Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, will host a series of special events to satisfy all members of the family. Beautifully decorated for the holidays, the Inn provides the perfect setting for a holiday get-together.
Wednesday, December 5th, 6:30 p.m.: The Inn kicks off its monthly series of Craft Beer Tasting Events showcasing craft brewing from caost to coast. Held in the casual setting of the Tavern, the December tasting will feature Ballast Point Sculpin IPA, San Diego; Dogfish Head Raison d’Etra, Milton, DE; Old Dominion Oak Barrel Stout, Dover, DE; and Full Sail Amber from Hood River, Oregon. Passed complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served. The cost is $20 per person, and guests are encouraged to stay for dinner following the event.
Sunday December 16th: The Annual Family Holiday Buffet Brunch with St. Nick. This festive event will feature holiday choraliers from “Highland Voices” of the Northern Highlands Regional High School; and St. Nick himself will be on hand to meet guests. It is suggested that attendees bring an unwrapped toy to benefit the Community Resource Council of Bergen County. There will be three seatings: 10:00 a.m., 12:00 noon, and 2:00 p.m. The cost is $29.95 for adults and $14.95 for children 10 and under (plus tax & gratuity). Wednesday, December 19th, 6:30 p.m.: An informal Holiday Champagne Tasting, hosted by Wine Director Rob Lipkin, will feature a fine array of sparkling wines and Champagne paired with complimentary hors d’oeurves. Laurent Perrier Brut, Champagne, France; Taittinger Brut La Francaise, Champagne, France; Iron Horse Brut, Sonoma, CA; Gruet Rosé, Albuquerque, NM; and Zardetto Prosecco, Veneto, Italy will be featured. Monday, December 24th: A special Christmas Eve dinner will be served beginning at 4:00 p.m. A special à la carte Christmas Eve dinner menu will be offered. Reservations can be made by calling (201) 445-4115.
Monday, December 31st: New Year’s Eve will be celebrated in style with a 6:00 p.m. early seating and 9:00 p.m. late seating. The 6:00 p.m. seating will feature a lavish multi-course dinner and is priced at $70.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity). The 9:00 p.m. seating will feature a multi-course local farm-fresh seasonal menu and complimentary Champagne toast. After dinner, guests can dance to their favorite music with DJ entertainer Willie Wilson. The evening includes festive party hats and noisemakers at midnight. The late seating is priced at $90.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity). An optional wine pairing is available at both seatings for an additional $40.00 per person.
