On Monday, September 17th, an estimated 100 golfers will tee off for the 10th Annual Redwoods Charity Golf Outing at the Black Oak Golf Club in Long Valley, New Jersey. Proceeds for the event will benefit the Morris County Chi Chi’s Foundation, which assists local families with children battling cancer.
“Last year’s event raised over $6,800 to support the good work that the Chi Chi’s Foundation does in our community,” noted Keith Holmes, co-owner of the popular Redwoods Grill & Bar in Chester, NJ, which organizes and sponsors the annual event. “We’re looking forward to breaking that record this year.”
This will be the first year that Black Oak Golf Club has hosted the Redwoods Charity Golf Outing. “This will be a great opportunity for golfers in our area to experience this spectacular and recently completed course while helping a very worthwhile cause,” commented Redwoods executive chef Sean Henry.
A BBQ luncheon at 12:00 noon will kick off the day’s events, and golfers will tee off in a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Following a fun day on the links, including refreshments and snacks, participants will be treated to an open bar reception and awards dinner at 6:00 p.m. All participants in the Redwoods Golf Outing will receive a commemorative premium cotton golf shirt as a memento.
All-inclusive registration for the full day is $150.00 per person. Foursomes are preferred, and single spots are limited. Several levels of event sponsorships are also available.
