If you’re a seafood fan, here’s a special event you won’t want to miss: On Thursday, August 23rd, 6:45 p.m., chef/proprietor Nicholas Harary and chef de cuisine Nicholas Wilkins of restaurant Nicholas in Middletown, New Jersey, will team up to create a menu that showcases the very best of the Garden State’s seafood and summer produce.

“Tastes of the Sea” Menu…

First Course: Cape May Salt Oyster, Dashi Meyer Lemon; Wine Accompaniment: N/V Cramant, Grand Cru, Cuvée Restaurant Nicholas, Diebolt-Vallois

Second Course: New Jersey Canyon Bluefin Tuna, Avocado, Caviar Wasabi; Wine Accompaniment: 2011 Vouvray, Le Mont Sec, Domaine Huet

Third Course: Jersey Blue Crab, Baked Potato, Sea Urchin, Old Bay; Wine Accompaniment: 2011 Luberon Rosé, Domaine de la Citadelle

Fourth Course: Barnegat Light Scallop, Bacon, Corn; Wine Accompaniment: 2010 Sonoma Coast, Chardonnay, Juliana Layla

Fifth Course: Jersey Coast Lobster, Heirloom Tomato, Anise Hyssop; Wine Accompaniment: 2009 Santenay Rouge, Olivier Leflaive

Sixth Course: Jersey Shore Dessert; Wine Accompaniment: 2011 Moscato d’Asti, G.D. Vajra

The cost of the “Tastes of the Sea” menu is $125.00 per person; $175.00 per person with wine pairings (plus tax & gratuity). This is a one night only menu, and seating is limited. For more information, or to make a reservation, please call (732) 435-9977.
