During July & August, the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern, One East Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, is offering an array of fine culinary and wine/craft beef events to tempt the palate.
Wednesday, July 18th: Champagne & Shellfish on the Inn’s patio at 7:00 p.m. Champagnes include Pierre Jouet Grand Brut, Zardetto Prosecco, Gruet Blanc de Blanc, Domaine Carnerose Rosé, and Luarent Perrier Brut served with a raw bar that includes lobster parfait, shrimp cocktail, and sampling of east and West Coast oysters. The event is priced at $42.00 (plus tax & gratuity) and reservations are required.
Wednesday, July 25th: The Inn’s “Cellar Club,” a wine education series (no membership required), will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the informal setting of the Library. Featured will be a variety of California zinfandels. The cost is $25.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity) and includes hors d’oeuvres.
Wednesday, August 8th: The Inn kicks off its monthly series of craft beer tasting events, showcasing craft bears from coast to coast Held in the casual setting of the Inn’s Tavern at 6:00 p.m., each event includes a tasting of 3 or 4 craft beers and passed complimentary hors d’oeuvres. The cost is $20.00 per person, and participants are encouraged to stay and have dinner following the event.
Wednesday, August 22nd: The Inn will host a special wine, beer, and cheese paring at 6:30 p.m. A selection of six cheeses paired with a variety of fines wines and hand-selected craft beers, including Epoisses de Bourgogne paired with Domaine Jessiaume Santenay and Shropshire Blue Cheese paired with Chateau Tournefeuille Bordeaux, will be served. This special event is priced at $35.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity) and reservations are requested.
