The Frog and The Peach in New Brunswick, New Jersey, is one of the 30 top restaurants in the state celebrating “Eat Drink Local Restaurant Week” in recognition of Edible Jersey magazine’s 5th year of publication.
The celebration is scheduled to be held at participating restaurants from June 23 – June 30th. The Frog and The Peach, however, will be celebrating an additional two days; beginning Friday, June 22nd, and ending Sunday, July 1st.
The Frog will be offering a $35.00 prix fixe menu, showcasing not only the freshest Garden State fish, poultry, and produce, but also locally produced beer and spirits as well.

Appetizer: Local Vegetable Minestrone, Pancetta, Basil, Parmesan; OR John’s Hothouse Tomato Salad, Compressed Mango, Lime Emulsion, Queso Fresco, Smoked Chili
Entrée: Barnegat Light Tilefish, Muth Farm Organic Kale, Hand-Cut Linguine, Littleneck Clam “Scampi”; OR Pan-Roasted Griggstown Chicken Breast, Dirty Rice, Blue Moon Acres Radish & Avocado Salad, Mole
Dessert: Belgian Brioche Waffle, Local Berry Compote, Toasted Pecans, Brown Butter Ice Cream; OR Bobolink Cave-Ripened Cheddar, Pickled Cherries, House-Baked Sourdough
The cost of this special prix fixe menu is $35.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity). Diners are also invited to “Drink Local” with New Jersey’s own River Horse Summer Blond Ale (16-ounces, $8.00; 9-ounces, $5.00) and special apple-ginger cocktail made with Laird’s Apple Jack, Scobeyville, NJ ($12.00).
