If you reside in Washington, DC, or will be visiting the area on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13th, you may wish to consider dining at Bistrot Lepic & Wine Bar, my favorite restaurant in upperGeorgetown.

Bistrot Lepic will be serving a special prix fixe menu for both lunch and dinner (the regular menu will not be available on Mother’s Day).

Appetizers: Cream of Peas, Crispy Pancetta; Sautéed Duck Foie Gras, Caramelized Apples, Balsamic Reduction; Ahi Tuna Tartare, Gold & Red Caviars, Citrus Dressing; Romaine Salad & Avocado, Baby Shrimp, Grapefruit, Light Cocktail Sauce

Entrées: Stuffed Guinea Hen Confit, Wild Mushrooms, Braised Chinese Cabbage, Shallot Sauce; Grilled Lamb T-Bone, Peruvian Potato Au Gratin, Confit Garlic Sauce; Sautéed Soft Shell Crab, Spinach, Lemon-Caper Butter Sauce; Beef Stew, Red Wine Sauce, Orecchiette Pasta Au Gratin; Grilled Whole Branzino, Provençal Herbs, Braised Fennel, Sorrel Sauce; Plate of Assorted Spring Vegetables
