“Blending with Andy Erickson” Wine Dinner at Resto

On Thursday, April 26,6:00 p.m., in cooperation with Gary’s Wine & Marketplace, Resto Restaurant in Madison, New Jersey, will host a unique wine dinner with special guest winemaker Andy Erickson.

Mr. Erickson, the winemaking talent behind Screaming Eagle, Dalla Valle, Leviathan, Arietta, and Dancing Hares, will lead a blending seminar with the varietals he utilizes in Leviathan, allowing each attendee to experience the process of blending for him/herself.

Following the blending seminar, Resto chef Robert Ubhaus will prepare a four course menu that will be paired with the 2010 Arietta “On the White Keys,” 2009 Dancing Hares Mad Hatter, the 2009 Leviathan, and a few other surprises.

The four course menu is as follows…

First Course: Rock Shrimp “Pan Roast,” Saffron Crème, Butter-Braised Leeks, Crisp Brown Beech Mushrooms

Second Course: Red Wine-Braised Quail, Caramelized Carrot Purée, Petits Pois à la Francaise

Third Course: Roast Rack of Australian Lamb, Pistachio-Yukon Gold Potato Gratin, Haricots Verts

Four Course: Artisanal Cheese Plate, Herb Tartines, Chestnut Honey, Marcona Almonds

The cost of the special wine dinner with Andy Erickson is $125.00 per person, all inclusive.
