Reverie Wine Dinner at the Bernards Inn

On Wednesday, April 18th, 6:30 p.m., the Bernards Inn, 27 Mine Brook Road, Bernardsville, New Jersey will host a spectacular wine dinner featuring the celebrated wines of NapaValley’s Reverie Winery.

Reverie is one of the Napa Valley’s smallest estate wineries and produces ultra-premium Bordeauxstyle varietal blends that are extremely difficult to find. Executive Chef Corey Heyer will create a five course dinner, with each dish complemented by a celebrated Reverie vintage.

 Scallops & Bone Marrow: Herb Butter, Garlic Chips, Celery Leaves, Garden Salad, Apricot Vinaigrette; Wine: 2008 Cabernet Franc

 Baby Spinach: Goat Cheese Croquettes, Hazelnuts, Strawberries, Long Pepper & Balsamic Reduction; Wine: 2009 Petit Verdot

 House-Made “Sweet Italian” Lamb Sausage: Arugula & Ricotta Tortellini, Grape Tomatoes, Basil, Broccoli Rabe, Parmesan; Wine: 2007 Cabernet

 Dry-Aged Sirloin: Roasted Garlic & Sour Cream Potatoes, Chive Purée, Portobello Mushrooms, Blue Cheese, Sauce Au Poivre; Wine: 2009 Special Reserve

 Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake: Milk Chocolate Ice Cream, Valrhona Chocolate Sauce
