Special Passover Menu at Philly’s Le Castagne

le-castagneBeginning Friday, April 6th, through Saturday, April 14th, Executive Chef Michael DeLone of Le Castagne, 1920 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, will offer a special Passover menu for lunch and dinner.

 

The menu pairs traditional Jewish cuisine with Italian influences to create an elegant holiday experience. Large groups can be accommodated and, with an additional fee, patrons may bring their own Kosher for Passover wine. The restaurant’s regular menu will also be available.

 

The Passover Menu is as follows:

 

Appetizer:

Spring Vegetable, Mini Matzo Ball Soup

Frisée & Spinach Salad, Lemon Vinaigrette, Roasted Wild Mushrooms, Poached Egg, Radish

Mixed Greens, Smoked Trout, Orange, Fennel Vinaigrette

 

Entrée:

Braised Beef Brisket, Horseradish Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Cauliflower

Roasted Chicken, Matzo Porcini Stuffing, Roasted Asparagus

Salmon Cakes, Cucumber Carpaccio, Tomato, Dill Relish

 

Sides:

Sautéed Asparagus

Pickled Vegetables

Roasted Potatoes

 

Dessert:

Flourless Chocolate & Almond Torte, Chocolate Orange Sorbet

Pineapple Cobbler with Coconut Macaroon Crust, Non-Dairy Whipped Topping
