Philly’s Sbraga Hosts Tuscan Wine Dinner

sbraga-chefOn Tuesday, March 6th, 6:00 p.m. & 8:30 p.m. Chef Kevin Sbraga and Italian winemaker Agostino Lenci of the Fattoria di Magliano Winery, will join together at Sbraga, 440 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA, for a special wine dinner.

 

Guests will enjoy four courses of exquisite modern American fare prepared by Chef Sbraga and paired with Mr. Lenci’s exceptional wines. Both Chef Sbraga and Mr. Lenci will be on hand to discuss the food and wine pairings, mingling with guests and answering questions.

 

Menu & Wine Pairings…

 

First Course: Smoke Gnocchi, Squash, Kale, Guanciale, Sage, Brown Butter

Wine: “Heba” – Morellino di Scansano (85% Sangiovese, 15% Other Native Varietals)

 

Second Course: Rabbit, Lemon Polenta, Olive, Trumpet Mushrooms, Capers, Oregano

Wine: “Sinarra” – IGT Rosso della Maremma, Toscana (95% Sangiovese, 5% Petite Verdot)

 

Third Course: Venison, lentils, Dates, Licorice, Brussels Sprouts, Hazelnuts

Wine: “Perenzo” – IGT Rosso della Maremma, Toscano (100% Syrah)

 

Fourth Course: Robiola Rochetta, Pear Mostarda, Walnut Raisin Bread

Wine: “Pagliatura” – IGT Vermentino della Maremma, Toscana (100% Vermentino)
