This coming Wednesday, February 29th, at 7:00 p.m., Axia Taverna, 18 Piermont Road, Tenafly, New Jersey, will host a five course prix-fixe tasting menu celebrating Greek cuisine.
This special menu will be prepared by Diane Kochilas, foremost authority of Greek cuisine, and executive chef Alex Gorant. Ms. Kochilas is a food columnist, cookbook author, and has taught Greek cooking throughout the world. She is an American of Greek descent, a born-and-bred New Yorker who has been living in Greece since the early 1990s. Ms. Kochilas and Chef Gorant have worked together developing recipes for Axia since its opening in 2006.
As an added incentive, Greek wines, specially selected by manager Tim Vlahopoulos, will complement each of the courses served. The cost of the five course tasting menu is $100.00 per person.
