albavineyardDuring select Saturdays in March & April, March 24, 31; April 7, 14, 21, from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Alba Vineyard in the Village of Finesville, Milford, New Jersey, will host “Wine 101,” a two-hour fun-filled class designed to introduce wine enthusiasts to the basic elements of wine appreciation.

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn from John Altmaier, a professional winemaker with over 30 years of experience, who truly enjoys sharing his passion and knowledge of the entire wine making process. By enrolling in one of the Wine 101 classes, participants will gain an understanding of the basic elements and characteristics of common wine varietals and how they are crafted. They will also learn how to evaluate wine and identify their own preferences, which will help them to take their appreciation to an entirely new level.

Participants will learn in the casual, friendly environment of Alba Vineyard’s Barrel Room. Each class size is limited to 25 people and reservations held with a credit card are required. The price is $25.00 per person, which also includes an etched Alba wine glass.

This wonderfully affordable class is a sellout every year and has limited seating. To make a reservation, or for additional information, send an email to wine@albavineyard.com or call (908) 995-7800.

Cheers!
