georgesdiningroomOn Friday, November 25th, the day after Thanksgiving, for those who aren’t already stuffed to the gills, georges’ restaurant, 503 West Lancaster Avenue, Eagle Village Shops, will be hosting “Wild West Wine Dinner,” featuring vintages of the Pacific Northwest.

 

1st Course: Seared Ahi Tuna Niçoise, Sun-Dried Tomato Vinaigrette

Wine: Waterbrook Sauvignon Blanc (Washington) 2010

 

2nd Course: Seafood Pistou Soup, Light Broth, Shrimp, Scallop, Vegetables, Herb Pesto

Wine: A to Z Chardonnay (Oregon) 2009

 

3rd Course: Duck Leg Confit, Braised Cabbage, Dijon Aïoli

Wine: Primarius Pinot Noir (Oregon) 2009

 

4th Course:  New York Strip, Garlic Pomme Purée, Blue Cheese-Leek Fondue, Cabernet Demi-Glace

Wine: Charles Smith “Steak House” Cabernet Sauvignon (Washington) 2009

 

5th Course: Angel Food Cake, Vanilla-Scented-Tropical Fruit Soup

Wine: Angel Cake Chardonnay (Washington)
