On Saturday & Sunday, September 17th & 18th, 12:00 noon – 5:00 p.m., Alba Vineyard, Village of Finesville, Milford, New Jersey, will celebrate the release of their newest vintage, the 2010 dry Riesling.
This perennial award winner scored 92 points at Tastings.com and garnered gold at this year’s Riverside International Wine Competition. Crafted from fully ripened fruit harvested from Alba’s estate at the end of a wonderful growing season, the 2010 dry Riesling exhibits a marvelous varietal richness. The aromatic and flavorful grapefruit & bright citrus character combine with a crisp, dry finish to make this wine a perfect match for light meals, seafood, poultry, and spicy Asian cuisine.
Tastings of the 2010 dry Riesling will be offered to guests from 12:00 noon – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17th, and Sunday, September 18th, for $10.00 per person. This event will also include samples of Alba’s estate wines paired with light appetizers, with a special warm lobster tart to pair with the 2010 dry Riesling. Cellar tours will be offered throughout the weekend.
