Paramour Restaurant to Open in the Historic Wayne Hotel, Wayne, PA

paramourThis fall, Paramour, a sophisticated bar and restaurant serving modern American cuisine, will make its debut in the iconic Wayne Hotel, 139 East Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, Pennsylvania.

 

Paramour will offer guests four dining areas: the outdoor veranda, boasting a gardenlike setting and comfortable, mocha-colored rattan chairs and couches; a contemporary lobby lounge, featuring high-backed cream leather chairs, ottomans, and a working fireplace; a lively bistro bar with plush semi-circle banquettes; and an attractive main dining room with direct views of the chef’s bar and open kitchen.

 

The innovative menu at Paramour will be executed by Chef Maurice Kim deRamus. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Mr. deRamus is classically trained with over 15 years experience working in some of the areas top kitchens, including, most recently, the executive chef position at A La Maison Bistro in Ardmore, PA.

 

Dinner in the stylish and elegant main dining room will feature such presentations as pork cheeks with creamy grits and onion jam; shaved root vegetable salad made with heirloom beets, watermelon relish, bell carrots, parsnips, fennel & açai-guava dressing; charred himachi collar with young green beans, crispy rice, and chili vinaigrette; and chestnut ravioli filled with shredded Lola duck, chanterelles, and brown butter.

 

The menu will also offer a “Primal Cuts” section, which will feature local beef, Berkshire pork and Colorado lamb with steakhouse-inspired side dishes; in addition, the “Fresh Catch,” a whole-baked fished encrusted in salt, will be filleted tableside.

 

Menu prices will range from $9.00 to $38.00.

 

An all-day menu will be available in the bistro bar, lobby lounge, and on the veranda from 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 midnight, seven days a week. Guests will be able to choose from a variety of dishes, perfect for everyday dining, including shareable and small plates, entrée salads, burgers, and sandwiches.

 

Lunch at Paramour will be served Monday – Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.; dinner will be served Sunday – Thursday, 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday until 11:00 p.m. An all-day dining menu will be available in the bistro bar, lobby lounge, and on the veranda from 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 midnight, seven days a week. Sunday brunch will begin a few weeks after opening.
