Copeland Restaurant Transforming Into Blue Morel in Mid-August

blue-morelThomas Ciszak, executive chef/proprietor of Chakra in Paramus and consulting chef of Copeland Restaurant in Morristown, New Jersey, has announced that his TLC Restaurant Group is spearheading the redesign and culinary re-imaging of the Blue Morel Restaurant, coming to the Westin Governor Morris Hotel in mid-August.

 

Chef Ciszak will continue to develop menus and oversee the Blue Morel kitchen.

 

Blue Morel will feature outstanding local organic and farm-raised ingredients, a stunning wine bar offering 40 plus wines by the glass and ½ glass tastings, and a green and sustainable approach in design and operating practices throughout the facility.

 

New menu selections will include:

 

Frisée, Home-Cured Berkshire Bacon, plus Goffle Road Farm Eggs

“Mason jar” Foie Gras, Ice Wine Gelée, plus Fresh Baked Brioche

Charcuterie from Local Artisans

Grass-Fed Sirloin of Angus Beef with Napkin Dumplings, plus Chanterelle à la Crème

Boeuf Bourguignon

Blueberry Trifle with Sweet Corn Ice Cream

Oma’s Peach Streusel Cake with Schlag

 

Copeland will close for two weeks, effective August 1st. A limited menu will be served during construction in the Westin Governor Morris Hotel lobby. The grand opening of Blue Morel will take place on August 15th.
