The newest entrant in the growing trend to high-style, premium food-buying establishments is Vero Farms & Marketplace, which is scheduled to open mid-late June in the new Vero Plaza, 688 Westwood Avenue, River Vale.
As consumers eat more meals at home, quality food offerings are of the utmost importance. And providing customers with quality foods, along with creative ideas on how to prepare & serve them, are the two main goals of Vero Farms.
The market will be divided into sections reminiscent of the stalls in market fairs of Old World cities and towns. Prime meats, fresh seafood & shellfish, and diverse types of breads and beautiful bakery selections will alert the senses. Plentifully stocked aisles and enticing end caps will give way to more exotic market shops with infinite cheese selections and colorful produce from local farms, complemented by seasonal provisions from around the world.
And a store of this caliber would not be complete without a variety of freshly prepared foods and an enticing charcuterie replete with meats hanging in giant clusters from the trellis that adorns the department.
As of this writing, Vero Farms reports that the store is on schedule for its debut in mid-late June. The market plans to open each day at 7:00 a.m. and will close weekdays at 7:00 p.m.; Saturdays at 6:00 p.m.; and Sundays at 5:00 p.m.
