On Friday, March 11th, through Sunday, March 13th, the third annual New Jersey Food & Wine Festival will be hosted at the Crystal Springs Resort in Hardyston, New Jersey.
The festival is a celebration of the world’s best wines and top local chefs from New Jersey and New York. The weekend’s events are designed to allow connoisseurs to meet and mingle with chefs, winemakers, sommeliers, and fellow wine aficionados.
Highlights will include a grand tasting, featuring 20 restaurants and over 100 wines, a charity dinner prepared by six top chefs, a Chateau d’Yquem wine cellar tasting dinner with Iron Chef Marc Forgione, as well as winemaker tastings and seminars. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Share Our Strength’s campaign to end childhood hunger in the United States.
While all Friday and Sunday events have been sold out, tickets are still available for the following events on Saturday, March 12th:
New World Wine Tasting & Seminar, featuring wines from New Zealand and South America (11:00 a.m.; $40.00 per person)
Single Malts & Cigars, featuring several aged single malt scotches from Macallan (5:00 p.m.; $35.00 per person)
The Festival’s Signature Event, The Grand Tasting, which will feature over 100 wines and champagnes plus 20 chefs, including Top Chef contestants Ed Cotton and Ariane Duarte of CulinAriane in Montclair, along with other New Jersey culinary stars such as James Laird of Restaurant Serenade, Juan Cuevas of Pluckemin Inn, Chris Siversen of Maritime Parc, and New York’s Oceana and Tribeca Grille. The cost is $95.00 per person in advance; $125.00 per person at the door (based on availability).
