hohokus-inn2One of the joys of dining at the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern, Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, is Pastry Chef Patrick Muller’s seasonal breadbasket and assortment of delectable homemade cakes, cookies, pies, and tarts. Now Chef Muller’s pastry magic is available for sale on the restaurant’s website.

Orders for Parmesan flatbread, apple cider sourdough loaves or rolls, carrots cakes, chocolate tarts, and other sweet treats, plus house-made ice creams, sorbets and gelati, are filled and ready for pick-up within 48 hours of placing an online order.

Chef Muller’s bake shop menu reflects the seasons, with an emphasis on more rustic, country-style flavors in colder months and lighter, brighter flavors as the weather warms. His Parmesan flatbread, however, will be a year-round crowd pleaser.

The affordably priced menu includes rustic cherry rolls sprinkled with tea-soaked cherries with cocoa and cinnamon ($6.00 per dozen); classic red velvet cake with cream cheese filling and icing ($14.00); silky chocolate tart comprised of a crisp almond base topped with decadent chocolate ganache ($14.00); and freshly baked cookies — in flavors such as chocolate mudslide to oatmeal raisin – ($7.00 per dozen). Some selections and flavors subject to change seasonally.

To see the full bake shop menu, or to place an order, visit www.hohokusinn.com and click “HIT Bake Shop” on the homepage.

Bon Appétit!
