Valentine’s Day 2011 falls on Monday… but the Bernards Inn in Bernardsville, New Jersey, will be offering romantic dining & accommodations during the entire weekend, beginning on Saturday, February 12th.
On Saturday the 12th, the Inn will not only offer patrons its new à la carte winter menu; but guests may also share special dinners for two, such as: seafood stuffed twin lobsters, rack of lamb for two, Chateaubriand, roasted blue point oysters, and decadent chocolate desserts. Seatings will begin at 5:30 p.m.; and guests may extend the evening with one of the Inn’s overnight packages: Winter Romance, Elegant Evening, or the Ultimate Indulgence Package. A three-course prix-fixe dinner will be offered on Sunday & Monday, February 13th & 14th. In addition to the dinners for two, the prix-fixe will also include gourmet selections prepared by Executive Chef Corey Heyer. Special libations will include a pomegranate martini and a wine and Champagne list of 1,500 selections. The dinner is priced at $115.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity), with seatings from 5:30 p.m. A Valentine’s overnight package will be offered on both Sunday and Monday nights, which will include dinner, deluxe overnight accommodations, rose petal turndown, and à la carte breakfast for two for $595.00, including gratuities (taxes are additional).
On Sunday, February 13th, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. guests are invited to bring the entire family together for an elaborate Valentine’s-theme brunch. Special holiday treat tables for children will feature “make-your-own” Valentine cookies, cupcakes, and more. Family Valentine’s photos will also be provided. Prices are $39.95 for adults; $14.95 for children 5 – 12; children under 5 are complimentary.
