Taste of Madison 2011

taste-of-madisonThe 10th anniversary of the Taste of Madison, “Taste 2011,” will take place on Tuesday, January 18th, at a new venue, the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park, New Jersey.

 

An extraordinary evening is being planned. The much anticipated annual food and wine extravaganza has become the premier culinary event in Morris County, providing participants the opportunity to sample signature dishes of diverse cuisines from more than 30 of Madison’s finest chefs and restaurants, all in one night and under one roof. Continental, American, Italian, French, Japanese, Chinese, and BBQ are on the menu.

 

The wines to accompany these cuisines will be exclusively provided by the Napa Valley Vintners Association. Confirmed winemakers in attendance will be Amuse Bouche Winery, Artesa Winery, Bennett Lane, Blackbird Vineyards, Cliff Lede Vineyards, Conn Creek Winery, Coup De Foudre Winery, Crushpad, Faust, Fontanella Family Winery, Gemstone, Heitz Wine Cellars, Juslyn Vineyards, Luna Vineyards, McCrorie Family Vineyard, Newton Vineyard, Oakville Ranch Vineyards, Oberon Wines, Palmaz Vineyards, PEJU, Raymond Vineyards, ROY Estate, Saintsbury, Schramsberg Vineyards, Sequoia Grove Vineyards, Signorello Estate, Spelletich Cellars, St. Supery Vineyards & Winery, Swanson Vineyards, Turnbull Wine Cellars.

 

It will be an opportunity to meet the vintners themselves as they pour their own distinguished wines and the best of the Napa Valley. The Vintners participation has been arranged through Gary Fisch of Gary’s Wine & Marketplace.

 

The annual fund-raising event is organized by the Madison Rotary Club Foundation, the Madison Chamber of Commerce, and the Downtown Development Commission. Proceeds from the event will be equally divided among the three groups, who, in turn, will fund local charities, local projects, and scholarships.

 

Tickets must be purchased in advance. Regular-priced tickets may be purchased up until the day of the event: VIP tickets, $100.00, 6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.; General Admission, $65.00, 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. In addition to Gary’s Wine & Marketplace, tickets for the Taste of Madison 2011 may also be purchased a Sprouts Consignment, 250 main Street; d.torr Boutique, 36 Main Street; Provident Bank, 98 Main Street, or online at www.tasteofmadison.org.
