hohokus-inn2At the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern, One East Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, fall’s bounty of apples, pumpkins, and hearty meats has inspired Executive Chef Bryan Gregg’s five-course menus to accompany two special wine dinners scheduled during the month of November.

 

On Wednesday, November 3rd, the Inn welcomes Ann Marie Harrison of Cakebread Cellars and will feature the following menu…

 

Kumamoto Oysters: Fennel Pollen, Crème Fraîche, Citrus, Domestic Caviar

Wine: Cakebread Sauvignon Blanc 2008

 

Griggstown Quail: Foie Gras, Brioche, Spiced Grape Gelée

Wine: Cakebread Pinot Noir 2006

 

Day Boat Scallops: Chanterelle Flan, Arrowleaf Spinach Air, Smoked Salt

Wine: Cakebread Chardonnay 2008

 

Bone-In “”48 Hour” Wagyu Short Rib: Pumpkin Dumplings, Blossoms, Seeds, Cocoa

Wine: Cakebread Merlot 2006
