Wine and Cheese Tasting at Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern

hohokus-inn2On Monday, July 26th, the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, will host an informal wine and cheese tasting.

 

The evening will showcase the pairing prowess of the Inn’s director of operations and beverage manager, Robert Lipkin. Mr. Lipkin has hand-selected ten favorite vintages for the evening’s reception and expertly paired each with an international assortment of artisanal cheeses.

Wine: Fournier Las Bellas Vignes Sancerre

Cheese: Bucheron with Lavender Oil Scent, Pepper and Local Beet Powder

 

Wine: Louis Jadot Pouilly-Fuisse White Burgundy

Cheese: Epoisses with Nectarine Jam and Sourdough

 

Wine: Erath Pinot Gris

Cheese: Humbolt Fog

 

Wine: Chateau St. Michelle Merlot

Cheese: Beemster

 

Wine: Charles Krug Cabernet

Cheese: Manchego

 

Wine: Wallace Brook Pinot Noir

Cheese: Morbier

 

Wine: Seghesio Old Vine Zinfandel

Cheese: Purple Haze Goat Cheese

Cheese: Red Dragon with House-Dried Beef and Acacia Honey

The evening of wine and cheese tasting will commence in the restaurant’s library bar at 7:00 p.m. and is priced at $30.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity).
