tortillapresscantina4On Wednesday, June 23rd, Tortilla Press Cantina, 7716 Maple Avenue, Pennsauken, New Jersey, will host a five-course tequila dinner with a special introduction by chef/proprietor Mark Smith.

 

First Course: Butler-Style Hors d’Oeuvres

Mini Nachos Lydia

Mini Black Bean Sopes, Salsa Verde, Queso Fresco

Chipotle Peanut BBQ Chicken Skewers

Sweet Potato, Chorizo & Pecan Empanadas

Libation: Flavored Mini Sauza Silver Margaritas

 

Second Course: Salad

Guacamole Salad, Pineapple-Cilantro Dressing

Libation: Clarita, a Pineapple-Infused Sauza Blanco & Coco Lopez

 

Third Course: Soup

Chicken Tortilla Soup, Queso Fresco, Crispy Tortilla Strips, Diced Avocado, Chopped Fresh Onion, Cilantro & Lime Wedges

Libation: Sauza Hornitos Silver Tejito: Silver Hornitos, Lime Agave Syrup, Mint Leaves, Soda

 

Fourth Course: Entrée (Choice of)

Pan-Seared Sea Scallops, Achiote garnished with Black Bean & Roasted Corn Salsa & Cilantro Rice

OR

Tampiquena Platter: Beef Tenderloin Medallion, Twin Cheese & Onion Enmoladas, Rajas Poblano, Pinto Beans

OR

Chile Rellenos & Cheese Enchilada

Libation: Tres Generations Reposado neat with Sangria Chaser

 

Fifth Course: Dessert

Coconut Flan, Sauza Gold Holy Mole

And

Dark Chocolate Square with Snifter of Sauza Gold
