On Sunday, June 6th, Nicholas in Middletown, New Jersey, will host another in its popular series of walk-around wine tastings…
The tasting will be held from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and will highlight a wide variety of superb wines from around the world, all of which have been hand-selected by Nicholas.
The restaurant has also announced that a special feature of the tasting will be the addition of 6 wines from the Dutton-Goldfield Russian River estate. Participants will be among the first to taste the spectacular single-vineyard offerings of the 2007 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from this acclaimed winery. In addition, all tasting guests will be automatically entered in a raffle to wine a magnum of Dutton-Goldfield wine, which the lucky winner will take home with them that evening.
The evening’s wines will be paired with Nicholas’ artisanal cheese selection, raw bar, and an assortment of passed hors d’oeuvres.
The entry fee for this walk-around wine tasting is $95.00 per person. If you choose to order wine, the restaurant will apply $50.00 of your entry fee towards your purchase. To make a reservation, please call (732) 345-9977 (credit cards will be charged on Friday, June 4th).
Additional note: Nicholas will be open for dinner in the dining room and the bar at 5:30 p.m. If participants are interested in making a reservation in the dining room, they should let the restaurant know ahead of time.
